My name is Nikki Wood and I’m a professional tarot card reader. I have been studying the tarot since 2006 and have reading publicly since 2012. I am also well versed in energy work, meditation, magick and herbal medicine.
I grew up in the desert and still carry that southwest vibe with me wherever I go. I’m currently based in Cave Creek, Arizona where I do readings for people all over the country as well as teach a variety of spiritual and herbal classes. In my spare time you can find me doing some hiking, relaxing at my favorite coffee shop or planning my latest travel adventure.
I started out my career working in advertising and marketing. I used to wear suit to work and everything! But I wasn’t happy and I knew I needed to be doing something else. I eventually decided to become a hairdresser because I felt like it suited my creative personality and I really liked working with people on an individual level.
About the same time I decided to change my career, the tarot found me. It arrived in the form of one very kind person who was able to show me how helpful and life affirming a positive reading could be. I was fascinated with how the cards worked, the way they were laid out and how accurate the information was that they presented. I started learning the cards that same week and I’ve been using them ever since.
The tarot has changed my life in more ways than I ever could have expected. It’s allowed me to meet lots of new and wonderful people. Its given me a platform in which to help and inspire others on their journey. But more than anything,Its given me the confidence and courage to do things I never thought I could.
One of the things I like most about the tarot and spirituality is that it has allowed me to give back to others what has been given to me. I love to help people understand different concepts and share what I’ve learned on my path. And until Spirit pointed it out, I didn’t realize I was becoming a teacher. After that I knew it was time to start thinking of myself as more than just a tarot reader, which honestly was a little scary at first. But I realized I had bigger shoes to fill. And with that epiphany, Apothecary 11 was born!
